About Us
Imagery Fine Arts, Inc. is the art gallery and custom framing service in charming, Chagrin Falls, Ohio, picture-postcard village of the Connecticut Western Reserve. We are approximately 30 minutes southeast of Cleveland and easily accessible by freeway. Imagery is located downtown, on North Main Street with convenient, free street parking.
Our focus is on original art. We have an extensive collection of watercolors, oils and acrylics on canvas, as well as antique engravings, and hand-colored restrikes. Our artists are North and South American, European, and Asian professionals.
In addition to works on paper and canvas, we offer contemporary ceramics, antique British stained glass windows, Murano hand-blown glass, and a collection of Belgian and French tapestries.
Our gift line includes crystal and silver items as well as a gallery full of gorgeous hand-made surprises.
Tasteful and unusual are our greeting cards. Some handmade, some featuring beautiful Chagrin Falls, and all certain to be well-received.
Imagery does custom framing as it should be done; in museum-quality, conservation style. Trust us to enhance and protect your artwork in one of our thousands of frame and matting combinations.
Darlene Nelson has been operating the gallery and custom framing service on Main Street, Chagrin Falls since May, 2005. Before that, Darlene had spent 30 years in the custom framing business at various locations in suburban Cleveland, Ohio. Her Imagery Fine Arts Gallery has operated since 1994 in Lyndhurst and Gates Mills.
The golden greeter, "Bluey" as his friends called him, worked with Darlene at Imagery during all open hours. Bluey and his sister Maizey who shared the greeting duties for the last five years have passed on at the age of 11 during the summer of 2014. Bluey and Maizey will live forever in our hearts. We know they'll both be waiting for us at the rainbow bridge. They were our very best friends and old souls, both are missed by many.
Neither Bluey nor Maizey can ever be replaced but their nephew, Loki-Blue has begun his apprenticeship as greeter and will be at the Gallery at times during his training.
